little behind and really bad at this lol

I know, its been a long time since I have updated. Please forgive me as it seems that all I have told you was I am now custodial at Typhoon Lagoon. While this is true, today, ironically, is my last day at typhoon.  The park closes down for referb today and all of the college program "kids" are being moved to


MAGIC KINGDOM

yea you know the one with the castle! I am beyond excited but a little freaked out too. I will miss working at Typhoon and some of the people I was working with and around but the friends I work with will be moving with me to MK so thats a bonus.


I start my orientation for Magic Kingdom on tuesday and I am excited to learn a little more about the park and all that I will be taking care of!


again I am utter crap at this, so sorry again, but I hope that if you want to know more you will just ask :D

CUSTODIAL!!

Yes ladies and gents...do guys actually read this? ... I have changed roles with Disney, I now work at Typhoon Lagoon water park as custodial.

Its not as bad as it sounds and I am actually enjoying it.

Sorry I haven't been the best at keeping up with this, but lets be honest I was never a fan of writing anyway haha.

ONE MONTH

So it has been one month since I've moved to Florida and started working for Disney :)
Yes, it has been awesome, crazy, nerve-wracking, fun, and tiring.
I work in Animal Kingdom in an area called Dinoland in Chester and Hester's Dinorama! I get to wear some funky clothes

This is part of my costume, the shorts match that pocket....yes they are 3D! 

I have three great roommates who I get along with which is a blessing and I work with some great people who I hangout with as well. 

Overall, it has been a great month so far and I am looking forward to the months to come. If you have any questions please leave them here or facebook me :)

Sorry that I haven't updated you all in quite some time, I have been super busy but I have wednesday and thursday off so I will do my best to make an update then. Love you all!!!

TODAY IS THE DAY!!!

This day hasn't come quick enough but came too fast as well. Woke up at 6 am to get everything ready to head towards check in at Vista Way apartments. Stood in line to get my housing information, key, and make sure I was with my roommates ( I am :) ). Straight away after that I went to Casting and stood in more lines, typical Disney ;), did all sorts of paperwork, finger print check, and more standing in line.  I am working in Animal Kingdom in Dinoland, pretty excited!



After all of that I finally got to move in!!! This is my side of the room :) the dark blanket is a UTSA blanket, of course!

We just had our first "family dinner", pizza! And now we are just hanging out and finishing unpacking.

15 days. sorry for the rambling.

I cant believe how close I am to leaving.


As I sit here thinking about how close it is and all I have to do to get ready, anxiety and fear creep in. There are so many things that I worry about and I know I dont need to.

Being forgotten, worry about my parents, friends, anxiety, all sorts of things that I know satan is using to attack.
BUT he cant take my excitement away from me. God has given me this amazing opportunity and He will help me along the way.


I have packed two suitcases so far and wont be packing anything else until closer to time, I have finals next week so I am preparing for those.

I am blessed with great family and friends who support me and I cant thank them enough.

25 days... lets hangout!

25 days. What?! I've filled out the paperwork that I must in advance now all I need to do is.......PACK.  Packing for a week is hard enough for me, but for 7 months!! It gives me anxiety haha. (If you have any advice please feel free to pass it along!

Its a little surreal to sit here and think that in only 25 days I will be using my one way ticket and leaving my family, friends, and puppy behind. Wont lie it make me cry a little. But I am so excited to have this amazing opportunity!

So this is my warning to family and friends if you want to spend any time with me at all you have 24 days to do so!

Sorry it has been a little bit since I've updated, school and attempting to sleep have taken up my time, BUT I want to show people who read this why I am beyond excited for this opportunity. Since I was little I wanted to work for the Disney company, and my dreams have come true. It is such a blessing and I can't wait to be there helping other families make magical memories like Disney has given my family.

36 Days

Yes, only 36 days until I leave for my Disney College Program. I have never really blogged before so this is all new to me but I will do my best to keep you all updated on my adventure; starting now! :) 


I have one suitcase packed all ready (sheets, towels etc..) but I am very very behind on packing any clothes. haha. Packing for 7 months is a bit tricky, I don't want to pack too much or too little, I can always be sent things via the mail so if I forget anything there is a remedy for it. Still a little anxiety does creep up on me. 

I haven't been away from the familiar for longer than 4 months at a time and even then people could easily drive to me; so I don't say this lightly, I am nervous. So many nerves and anxieties about different things, so prayers would be much appreciated! 

With that said, I am BEYOND excited to be there, to be on this adventure, this new step in life! Maybe between now and then I will have thought of more to say....If you'd like for me to post anything let me know!! :)
